The Colorado Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons seeks to promote and enhance the practice of ophthalmology in Colorado in a variety of ways, including:
ADVOCACY: CSEPS seeks to aid physicians who practice ophthalmology in their relations with patients, hospitals, medical institutions, governmental agencies and all other groups related in any way to the practice of ophthalmology. CSEPS has represented ophthalmology in the CO State Legislature as well as at the CO Department of Public Health and all other state regulatory agencies. CSEPS plans to continue its role as patient advocate and when called upon, its members will fight vigorously to preserve the quality of medical eye care in the state.Â
EDUCATION: CSEPS has sought to educate ophthalmologists and their staffs as to the recent changes in the critical area of coding, reimbursement and compliance as well as in all levels of practice and risk management.
OUR MISSION: The mission of the Colorado Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons is to serve the total visual health care needs of the people of Colorado through public and professional education, membership services and legislative advocacy.Â

Membership in the Colorado Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons (CSEPS) is open to every ophthalmologist in Colorado and we invite you to become a member of the CSEPS. The CSEPS is the only specialty society in Colorado representing Ophthalmologists and is recognized as a Chapter of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
